             Should you cancel your attendance due to health reasons, we will credit it
             for the next available session. For valid reasons outside sickness, it is
             subject to approval and should be announced 2 weeks prior to the event.

Full Day Course Outline:

This introductory course will provide the attendee with the knowledge that will allow effective measurements to be made with an infrared camera and avoid the common pitfalls in measurement practices that can result in misdiagnosis of a problem.

Theoretical Session (9AM to 11:00AM)

-Definition of Infrared Thermography , Radiation Intensity
-Critical Object Parameters (Emissivity, Reflectivity, Transmissivity)
-Camera Parameters: Field of View, Spot Size, Impact of detector resolution, Thermal Sensitivity (NETD), Level & Span
-Applications (More sample thermal images)
-Short Quiz

Lab works thermal survey applying camera handling techniques (11:30 to 12PM)


Break (12  to 12:30PM)

Practical Quiz & Software reporting session (12:30 to 2:30 PM)

-Data transfer
-Presenting thermograms by trainees
-Post Analysis techniques using Flir Studio Pro or legacy Flir Tools Suite (including trending/health index)
-Report printout generation using Flir Studio Pro or legacy Flir Tools Suite (including trending/health index

Please bring your own laptop. If you feel unwell on the day of training, we request you to not attend the event. You will still be entitled for a seat on the next scheduled course. Your booked ticket will not be forfeited for health-related cancellations only.

Note:The trainees are required to bring their own laptop and to install a thermal software to be able to attend this training. Bringing their own thermal camera is highly recommended but not required.
