The SYSCOMPACT 2000 M is a mobile, multifunctional cable fault location system. The integrated surge and test generator is used for cable testing and precise location of high-resistive and intermittent faults. It is primarily used for cable fault location in cables up to a length of 65 kilometres in low- and medium-voltage networks. High- and low-resistive faults as well as intermittent faults can be located using the IRG 2000 echometer thanks to the integration of state-of-the-art fault pre-location methods SIM-MIM as well as the impulse current method.Lightweight, portable
